I sat there and listened as he went on bout the place
Loved the winter and summer memories shone through his face
Talked bout the water the mountains the sky
How it all seem to come together how they got real high
Said the people like to party
Got their charm
And though they’re from the other side of the world
Made them feel so warm
You gotta visit spend time on her streets
She’s a one of a kind place
Where the world meets
A city by the ocean with mountains watching over
In case you didn’t know
This is Vancouver
Caught some rays in Kitsalano, biked and hiked through Stanley Park
Checked the time in Gastown with an old steam clock
Climbed down a path to a beach, then took it all off
Hit the slopes on my board whistlin' down powder so soft
Coming back, I think it's obvious
But the next time we're gonna bring some friends with us
You gotta visit spend time on her streets
She’s a one of a kind place
Where the world meets
A city by the ocean with mountains watching over
In case you didn’t know
This is Vancouver
I been around the world, everyone says the same thing
It’s a beautiful city with a little bit of everything
So I hold my head proud
And shout it in a crowd
In case you didn’t know, I this Vancouver
I been around the world, everyone says the same thing
It’s a beautiful city with a little bit of everything
So I hold my head proud
And shout it in a crowd
In case you didn’t know, I come from Vancouver
This is Vancouver
